“What counts is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.” Nelson Mandela

Memorial Silver Prints

One of the most powerful things we experience as human beings is touch. Even from the earliest part of life, we know the importance of a physical connection. Touch is a part of who we are, and how we relate to those we care deeply about. It's part of how we make meaningful memories, and equally a part of what we miss when the season of memory making has passed.
The reasons people have in wanting to carry a silver fingerprint of a loved one are unique from one to the next. For some, it's an opportunity for parents, brothers and sisters to carry with them a touch-point of a loved one that may be going through a hardship. For others, a way to remember someone who's passed. But in each case, one thing remains the same -- the value of being able to touch fingerprints with a loved one, connecting the heart no matter how far the space between. With each pendent hand-crafted, no two, even with the same fingerprint are alike.

Elaine Carelse is the Principal of Memorial Prints. Elaine works closely with her carefully selected community of funeral directors.  The use of fine silver clay is such a beautiful part of the process, rich with symbolism. Elaine loves being able to provide families with a unique piece of jewelry to cherish a special person who made an unforgettable impression on their lives.

Since its inception in 2017 Memorial Prints continues to grow and is currently available in 7 funeral homes in British Columbia. In 2020 we established our first Agency on Vancouver Island.

My vision is to grow our brand to empower individuals by creating opportunity, so that the uniqueness of Memorial Prints will be offered in funeral homes from Coast to Coast.
